Description
Patients suffering from dental anxiety have nothing to be ashamed of. For whatever reason, many patients experience heightened nerves when they visit the dentist, and we are happy to provide them dental sedation options that create a more peaceful experience. We offer both IV sedation and nitrous oxide options for our patients, so they have little to no memory of their treatments.

When we have patients that are nervous, with anxiety, or a little fearful,
we have options for these patients in that we offer IV sedation and nitrous
oxide sedation, which most practices don't offer under one setting with
multiple specialists. What I have found over time is those patients need
more time to be dealt with and talked to. I've had patients come into the
office pouring in sweat; almost not able to verbalize how they feel. What I
try to do is to make some contact with them, some comfort with them.
Patients that can't be treated any other way, over time become comfortable
and trust us. Before you know it, they're not required to have IV sedation
or nitrous oxide, except for certain procedures. They're able to have maybe
one procedure with IV sedation, another one with nitrous, another one
without. Over time as their anxiety decreases, they're able to eliminate
these more expensive forms of sedation. We've had great success with our
patients.
